About

The truth is undeniable - we have mere years to reverse rapidly rising global temperatures before the damage becomes irreparable. Changes for a sustainable future - or any future - need to happen now.

However, trying to live sustainably in a world that undermines almost any and every effort to do so can seem impossible. In a society that prioritizes mass consumerism, fast fashion, and the convenience of single-use plastics, it is daunting to attempt lifestyle changes. We've all been there - committing to a new eco friendly strategy for a week before giving up because the change seems so insignificant. Going cold turkey on garbage waste and carefully sorting recycling - only to hear an upsetting news headline about how something as small as sticky peanut butter stuck to the bottom of an old jar can contaminate an entire batch of recycling. Is there even a point of investing time and effort into sustainable strategies when our society is so entrenched in the opposite?

Hi, I'm Annie, an 18 year old student at McGill University. I am aiming to make

With topics ranging from ethical thrifting, to no-waste cooking, to fun at-home DIYs, this newsletter will prove that making sustainable swaps in everyday life can make an impact and be fun at the same time. Climate change and a dying planet are certainly overwhelming, but sustainability doesn't have to be.

Let's make sustainability, sustainable.
